Born in Spain now living in the UK, is a modern coloured pencil artist, with a background in Marketing. Art has been a constant practice for most of her life. She received classical training in Spain and exhibited in the following countries: Spain, US, UK and New Zealand.
Exposure to different cultures has had a great influence in her art. With regards to coloured pencil, she is a self-taught artist that has developed beyond the established boundaries. She went to improve her skills in coloured pencils by using her favourite artists as study ground, including Dalí, Georgia O’keeffe, Gerhard Richter and the monochromatic studies based on Yves Klein, amongst others. Then, adding learning techniques to support structures and building light, using layers to bring up that sense of brilliance. She methodically built up her colour studies by producing individual charts with the intention to learn how they mixed in this new medium.
The purpose of her work is to use texture, light and movement (through shape) to create a sense of peace and harmony, aspiring to engage the viewers to take part in the experience. Initially she used coloured pencils to portrait wildlife, for which she has received several awards (Wokingham Art Society). She is now expanding onto a more abstract scenery with great acceptance by her peers (UK Coloured Pencil Society – Awarded “Highly Commended” at the Silver Exhibition 2026).
